"Former American Idol executive Chris Gannett teamed up with iconic rapper and Dallas-native the D.O.C. to launch an educational and commerce platform to provide practical skills and pathways to students into the multibillion-dollar media, entertainment, and technology industries. Focused on Southern Dallas, the program has secured seed funding from the Dallas Regional Chamber and developed a curriculum with Big Thought focused on gaming, music, advertising, and technology, helping prepare underserved youth for a career in a high demand industry while balancing educational opportunities with pride and possibility."
